Qualified Social Worker Safeguarding & Review A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Social Worker to step into a Child Protection Chair / Independent Reviewing Officer role within a well-established Safeguarding & Review service. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children, confident in chairing complex meetings, and committed to high-quality, restorative social work practice. The Role You will chair Child Protection Conferences, Looked-After Children Reviews, Strategy Meetings and provide independent oversight of planning and practice. Working closely with internal social work teams, multi-agency partners, and senior leaders, you will ensure statutory requirements are met and that each childs plan is robust, appropriate, and consistently progressed. This is a role where you will influence practice, support quality assurance activity, and contribute to the development of high standards across childrens services. You will also promote participation, ensuring the voices of children, young people, and families are central to decision-making. Key Responsibilities Chair Child Protection Conferences and Looked-After Reviews within statutory timescales.
