The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology function of this forward-thinking organisation. This senior leadership role is pivotal in setting and delivering the overall technology vision and strategy. The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about technology, possess a strong record of managing high-performing technical teams, and bring the strategic insight required to keep the business competitive in a fast-evolving digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the organisation’s business goals.
- Oversee all technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Lead the development of mobile applications, data platforms, and core systems infrastructure.
- Inspire and mentor the wider technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with internal departments to embed technology-led solutions into operational processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform future strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Promote continuous improvement in systems scalability, performance, and security.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role within a software-led or digital-first environment.
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, mobile technologies, and telecommunications systems.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to define vision, inspire teams, and drive technical innovation.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and complex delivery timelines.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree desirable).
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
