Art Charity | Exceptional Venue | Small, High-Impact Team We’re supporting an ambitious art charity with a truly standout venue to appoint a Chief Operating Officer. This is a broad, hands‑on leadership role working closely with the CEO, combining strategic input with day‑to‑day operational leadership. With a small team, the COO will have oversight across operations, governance, people and – critically – finance. This is a CFO/COO hybrid in nature. We’re particularly interested in candidates from a strong finance background who can lead on financial strategy, budgeting, reporting and long‑term sustainability, while also driving operational effectiveness across the organisation. The successful candidate will be both strategic and pragmatic: comfortable building systems and processes, supporting a close‑knit team, and ensuring the smooth running of a busy, high‑profile venue. We’re looking for an experienced operator, ideally from a charity, arts or creative environment, who thrives in smaller organisations and enjoys taking real ownership. This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in shaping a purpose‑driven organisation, with real influence, visibility and impact.
