The Role The Chief of Staff acts as an extension of the CEO – connecting strategy to execution. You will own cross‑functional priorities, bring structure to fast‑moving initiatives, and ensure the business delivers against its key objectives. You are not here to observe – you are here to drive outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. CEO Leverage & Strategic Execution
Translate CEO priorities into clear, actionable plans across teams Act as a sounding board on key decisions, hiring, and strategy Prepare materials for board, investors, and senior stakeholders Ensure follow‑through on critical initiatives
2. Business Performance & Reporting
Build and own weekly/monthly reporting across:
Trading performance Marketing efficiency (CAC, ROAS, contribution) Stock and returns Identify risks early and push corrective action
3. Cross‑Functional Leadership
Drive alignment across:
Marketing E‑commerce Product/Design Operations & Logistics Finance Remove bottlenecks and ensure teams are executing in sync
4. Special Projects Lead high‑priority projects such as:
Retail expansion (store openings, performance tracking) International growth (EU/US) Marketplace strategy optimisation Operational improvements (returns, fulfilment, cost control) Fundraising or strategic partnerships
5. Process & Operating Cadence
Implement and run:
Weekly trading meetings Monthly business reviews Quarterly planning cycles Improve decision‑making speed and clarity across the business
What We’re Looking For Experience
5–10 years experience in:
High‑growth startup / scale‑up Investment / operational roles Experience working closely with a CEO or founder Strong commercial understanding (ideally retail, fashion, or e‑commerce)
Skills
Extremely structured thinker with strong problem‑solving ability Commercially sharp – understands what actually drives profit Strong financial literacy (comfortable with P&L, cash, margin) Excellent communicator – clear, direct, and persuasive High ownership mindset – takes responsibility for outcomes, not tasks
Profile
Operates at pace and thrives in ambiguity Not – on what’s right for the business Detail‑oriented but able to see the bigger picture Highly trustworthy and discreet
