An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven highly specialised Vascular Clinical Scientist/Physiologist to join our vascular team. We will consider applications from newly qualified vascular clinical scientist/physiologists and for part‑time hours.

We work a compressed week with four working days (8:00am to 6:00pm), providing an excellent work‑life balance. We are a small vascular department in modern, air‑conditioned facilities. We aim to provide off‑probe time to all sonographers to reduce MSK and support role expansion / CPD.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a range of vascular investigations, including outpatient and inpatient arterial and venous scanning, carotid scanning including TIA service, EVAR surveillance, exercise ABPI and toe pressures.
  • Provide off‑probe time to sonographers and support role expansion / CPD.

Professional Development

  • We are committed to team development, offering training both internally and externally and course opportunities including attendance to vascular conferences.
  • Current team includes 2 substantive experienced sonographers and we aim to develop services to support professional growth.
