Were recruiting a Chemotherapy Homecare Nurseto provide specialist treatment and support to patients in their own homes across East London. This is a highly autonomous, patient-focused role where youll build meaningful relationships and support individuals throughout their treatment journey,without the pressures of acute shift environments.
The Role:
- Deliver oncology treatments in patients homes and community clinics
- Undertake blood tests, toxicity assessments and line care
- Administer IV chemotherapy, oral SACT support, pump disconnections, IM/SC injections
- Provide education, reassurance and clinical guidance to patients and families
- Manage your own caseload with full clinical support available
- Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN
- Oncology qualification / SACT passport or equivalent
- Competent in cannulation and venepuncture
- Confident working independently in a community setting
- Full UK driving licence
- £43,700 base salary+ London Weighting up to £8,740 per annum
- Fully expensed xbpsjku company car & fuel card or car allowance of £4,800 per annum
- 36 days annual leave
- Private medical insurance
