The Bay Horse Inn is a charming traditional country pub in the heart of the picturesque village of Green Hammerton, conveniently located on the A59 between York and Harrogate. Under new management, we pride ourselves on serving quality British pub classics, fresh seasonal dishes, and a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.

About the Role We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to help deliver great-tasting, high-quality food in a busy pub environment. You will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen, from preparing fresh ingredients, kitchen management and plating dishes that keep our customers coming back!

Ideal Candidate

• Previous kitchen experience desirable but not essential as full training given
• Must be Passion about cooking quality British pub food
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Must be Flexible, Committed and Reliable
• Must be commutable within 10 to 12 miles of YO26 8BN

Shift Pattern

• Wednesday to Sunday (5 days per week)
• Monday and Tuesday off every week
• One weekend off per month

Hours & Pay

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Hourly rate: £15 £18 per hour (depending on experience)
