Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with company standards and recipes

  • Assist in menu planning and development where required

  • Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation

  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and comply with all health and safety regulations

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation

  • Minimise waste and work efficiently to meet service demands

  • Support and collaborate with other kitchen team members

  • Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and fully compliant at all times

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience working as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role

  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred)

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
