Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to oversee catering services within our residential complex. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for delivering high-quality meals while managing kitchen operations efficiently and professionally.
Service Times:
Breakfast: 7:00am 9:00am
Lunch: 12:00pm 2:00pm
Dinner: 5:00pm 7:00pm
The role is 40 hours per week, worked 5 days out of 7, on a rota basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver fresh, nutritious meals that meet residents dietary and nutritional needs
Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards
Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
Manage stock control, ordering, budgets, and supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Work closely with residents and management to gather feedback and improve the dining experience
Create appealing, seasonal menus tailored to resident preferences
About You:
Proven experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar role
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and dietary requirements
Ability to manage costs effectively while maintaining quality
Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certification
