A charming and highly regarded gastro pub near Mildenhall is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join its busy kitchen team. Serving a mix of traditional and modern dishes, the pub offers an la carte menu alongside daily specials, with around 100 covers across lunch and dinner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef with experience in a fresh-food environment who is keen to develop their career in a quality-led kitchen.
The Role:
Salary: £32,000 + great tips
4 days on, 3 days off
46 hours per week
Run your own section and maintain high standards
Prepare fresh, seasonal dishes for the la carte menu and specials
Support and mentor junior chefs
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef
Requirements:
Previous Chef de Partie experience in a fresh-food kitchen
Passion for quality ingredients and excellent presentation
Calm under pressure, organised, and a strong team player
Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to village location
