We are seeking a skilled and passionate chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 4 years experience in meal preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Chef de Dartie, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly. Requirements Proven minimum 4 years experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
