Role Overview
We are seeking ahighly skilled and detail-driven Chef de Partieto join our fine-dining kitchen team. The successful candidate will take ownership of a designated section and contribute to the delivery of refined, elegant dishes executed with precision and consistency.
This role is ideal for a chef who has strong technical foundations, a deep respect for ingredients, and the discipline required to perform at the highest culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Run a specific section of the kitchen (e.g. fish, meat, sauce, garnish) to fine-dining standards
Prepare, cook, and present dishes with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
Execute dishes precisely according to the Head Chefs specifications and tasting standards
Maintain flawless mise en place and readiness for service at all times
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure smooth, calm, and controlled service
Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness
Monitor quality and freshness of ingredients; handle premium produce with care and respect
Control waste and follow strict portioning and cost-control procedures
Assist in training, mentoring, and supervising Commis Chefs
Contribute to menu development, tastings, and continuous improvement where appropriate
Maintain focus, discipline, and professionalism during high-pressure services
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fine-dining or Michelin-level kitchen
(or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up)
Strong classical cooking techniques and understanding of modern fine-dining execution
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
High level of precision, cleanliness, and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure
Strong team mentality and clear communication skills
Commitment to consistency, excellence, and continuous learning
Qualifications (Preferred)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent international qualification)
Food Safety Level 2 or above
Experience working with seasonal, high-quality ingredients
