Chef Cook Annual Salary: £32,000 Location: HA6 Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday) We are seeking a dedicated Chef Cook to join our private school catering team starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional who is passionate about creating nutritious and delicious meals for students and staff. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and prepare daily meals that meet the nutritional guidelines and dietary needs of students and staff. Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies while adhering to budget constraints. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with UK regulations. Collaborate with the school administration to develop menus that are both appealing and nutritious. Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation. Address any dietary concerns and preferences from the school community. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational environment. Professional culinary qualifications or equivalent. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Right to work in the UK. A passion for cooking and providing high-quality food service.
