We are recruiting an experienced Chef to join a leading global contract catering company at their site near Amesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values work-life balance and wants to be part of a supportive and professional team.

?? Key Details

Hourly Rate: £12.61
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, either 5:30am-2:00pm or 9:30am-6:00pm
Weekends: Only 1 in 4 weekends required
Overtime: Paid at the standard hourly rate for hours worked over 40

??? Main Responsibilities

Prepare and present food to high standards, ensuring quality and portion control
Support the kitchen manager with stock control and ordering within budget
Maintain up-to-date product and menu knowledge
Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

? What We're Looking For

Proven experience working as a Chef in a similar environment
NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume setting
