Chartered Structural Engineer (Team Lead) Location: North West London (NW2)

About the Role We are working with an established and growing structural engineering consultancy based in North West London (NW2) , seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to join the business in a senior, leadership-focused position.
This is a hands-on technical role combined with team leadership responsibilities , ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in the delivery and sign-off of structural designs and reports.
The position is fully office-based , with regular site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of structural engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship

Communicate effectively with both UK-based and offshore team members

Prepare, review, and sign off structural engineering reports

Oversee and approve designs produced by junior engineers

Attend site inspections and client meetings where required

Ensure projects are delivered to a high technical and professional standard

Maintain clear communication with internal teams and stakeholders

Requirements Chartered Structural Engineer status ( MIStructE & MICE considered a strong advantage )

Minimum 5 years UK structural engineering experience

Proven experience writing and signing off structural reports

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience

Strong communication skills, with a patient and supportive leadership style

Comfortable working from the office full-time and attending site visits

Eligible to work in the UK
