We are looking for an experienced CDM Principal Designer/CDM Consultant who is able to manage CDM compliance on projects across residential, industrial and rail sectors.We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience to join our team:Build strong client and team relationships through clear, confident communicationOwn CDM compliance across multiple projects as the go-to safety advisorDeliver Principal Designer duties, ensuring full statutory compliance end-to-endCarry out thorough site H&S inspections to maintain top safety standardsAdvise clients and designers on their CDM responsibilities with clarity and authoritySupport a wide stakeholder group, including developers, contractors, and designersProduce compliant RAMS and robust site safety documentationManage project finances through accurate fee proposals and prompt invoicingChair CDM hazard meetings, maintain trackers, and liaise closely with designersDevelop bespoke H&S policies, procedures, and templates (desirable)Apply working knowledge of ISO 45001 to provide added strategic value (desirable)Required SkillsNEBOSH Diploma, Degree in Health and Safety or equivalentAssociation for Project Safety (APS), IOSHUnderstanding and application of CDM Regulations 2015Knowledge of Health and Safety RegulationsPreferable but not essential skillsCompetence in Fire Risk AssessmentsBuilding Regulations DutiesUnderstanding of or willing to learn Building Regulations Schedule 1 requirementsExperience in HRB projectsExperience in the rail sector (desirable) or willing to learn.Why work for us?We’re proud to be recognised as a 2024 Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work for, with a culture built around people, inclusion and flexibility.
