Catering Manager We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager, live-in or out, for an established multi-faceted business - part of a national UK company catering for large groups serving company core to spec menus. You will ideally have an education or military contract catering style background used to cooking in bulk for set service times. It is a busy operation serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - earliest start 6am and latest finish 9pm. Experience leading teams a mid-to-large scale dining environment Has experience and understanding of food, in a mass productionenvironment A confident manager of people with strong organisational and decision-making skills Excellent knowledge of food hygiene & handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerances City & Guilds 7061/2 (or equivalent) and Level 3 or above in Food Safety and Allergen Management CATERING MANAGER YOU WILL: Prepare and cook food from our proven, spec menus Recruit, train and lead the team of chefs, catering assistants and team leaders Delivering delicious as well as safe food by ensuring all health and safety, allergen safety & food safety standards are followed. Taking care of all financial aspects of the catering operation, ensuring the function remains within budget Provide maximum value for money whilst maintaining excellent quality.
