As a Catering Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of truly incredible food service. You will have the skills to cook foods for the daily menus. You would also work as part of the team carrying out all duties as expected in a catering department; ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and that high quality cleaning regimes are adhered to, and stock is always kept safe, stored appropriately, and rotated securely. Monitoring food production, portion control and waste reduction to maintain cost efficiency. The Catering Lead will act as a role model to members of the Catering team always offering support to other staff. Promoting teamwork, training, and professional development. The post holder will need a varied background in catering, working in education settings would be advantageous. We are looking for someone who is flexible to meet the needs of our learners and the team. You will need to have Food Safety Level 2 and be able to use a computer or be willing to undertake the training required.
