Managing a large school feeding approximately 1100 children per day. An understanding in education catering is very important as the school is very focused on the Catering department. The catering department is made up of 8 staff and all work closely with the teachers and masters. This role is very front‑facing with regular contact with pupils on the counter service operation. Knowledge of local and national food trends is desirable. This role covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, but the unit is closed some weeks during holiday periods. The role is Monday to Friday, full time, with early evenings but no weekend work, providing limited working weeks due to school breaks.
