Job Role: Catering Assistant Location: London, Camden Town Salary: £14.50 per hour Hours: 32 hours per week Shift Pattern: MondayThursday Houston & Hawkes are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in London. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced catering environment and takes pride in supporting smooth day-to-day service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care. Duties: Supporting food service and food preparation across the catering operation Assisting with setting up, serving and clearing food service areas Maintaining cleanliness across service and kitchen areas, including equipment and work surfaces Washing up and ensuring crockery, cutlery and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly Supporting deliveries, stock rotation and storage Providing friendly, professional customer service at all times Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
Requirements: Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential A positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
