*We are looking for a catering assistant to join our team, in a brand new, state of the art kitchen/staff canteen, based within a busy food factory in Sherburn-in-Elmet. We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and personable individuals.*

Shifts will be delegated via rota. Part Time - 16 hours per week approx. (negotiable). Immediate start available. Flexibility required to cover sickness and holidays – paid overtime *Duties:* Assist with general cooking/food prep. 500 employees approx. on site Serving food and drinks for breakfast, lunch and afternoon dinner services. Till work (cashless). Pot washing. Stock rotation. All other kitchen associated tasks. *Skills/Requirements:* Previous background in canteen/kitchen work. Good knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, in particular HACCP and allergen awareness. Good level of HACCP understanding, allergens and food safety. Level 2/3 food safety. Minimum 2 years’ experience in professional canteen/kitchen setting. *Holidays:* 28 days holiday per year, including bank holidays. The kitchen is open on bank holidays and over the Christmas period – time off is granted on a first come, first served basis.
