Catering and Operations Manager for high end catering company

We are looking for a highly experienced Catering Manager to run our kitchen and events operation. We work mainly in the Film & fashion industry which is a demanding and fast-paced environment, needing an experienced person to maintain and build relationships with producers ensuring our company reputation exceeds expectations.
Our idea candidate needs to have;
Film set/shoot experience; understand the dynamics of a film set and understand the pressures a production team face
Minimum two years experience as a catering Manager or Operations Manager or similar role
Willing to drive in and around London for location visits, events and shoot set-ups
Experience managing staff
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
Consulting with clients & Producers to understand their event/shoot needs and preferences.
Developing customized menus with chefs and proposals based on client requirements.
Coordinating event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and equipment rental.
Ensuring smooth execution of events from conception to completion.
Staff Management:
Hiring, training, and scheduling catering staff, including chefs, servers, and support staff.
Ensuring all team members learn the Grace & Skye way, using the support material created
Motivating and supervising staff to maintain high-quality service standards.
Managing staff performance and addressing any issues that arise.
Improving and executing the staff induction process
Budget Management:
Working with Finance to manage catering budgets for events.
Controlling costs and minimizing waste.
Ensuring that events stay within budget while maintaining quality.
Client Relationship Management:
Maintaining positive relationships with clients before, during, and after events.
Addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary catering environment.
Ensuring documentation, risk assessments and insurances are up to date
Menu Planning and Execution:
Collaborating with the head chef to develop menus that meet client needs and preferences.
Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and service.
Ensuring that food quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
Inventory Management:
Managing catering inventory and supplies.
Ensuring adequate stock levels for events.
Competitive salary package or freelance basis - Full time
