As a Customer Category Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of the commercial function—partnering with key customers to unlock growth opportunities, influence strategy, and bring data to life through compelling storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of category growth plans and Shopper-Based Design (SBD) vision
- Define and implement Perfect Store Standards across all channels (in-store and online)
- Act as the primary category contact for key customers
- Translate data into actionable insights and commercial recommendations
- Champion the voice of the customer and category within brand development
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on performance, NPD, and strategic priorities
- Contribute to Joint Business Plans (JBPs), account planning, and strategic reviews
- Support a high-performance, coaching-led team culture
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with a data-driven mindset
- Ability to influence, challenge, and think strategically
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative approach
Desirable:
- Experience with tools such as Circana, Kantar, or retailer systems
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Exposure to commercial processes and leadership experience
