Racking Operative. Reporting to the Cask Racking Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
Working to meet?production targets whilst upholding high plant hygiene standards, and following health and safety rules.
Using a keen eye for detail and following set methods to gather samples, and make daily quality checks, to ensure our products meet specifications.
Filling in records and paperwork to tightly monitor products and machinery to keep track of potential production losses in OEE, utilities and product.
Working with several types of machinery and promptly reporting any mechanical issues
Always following manual handling safe practices and procedures.
Following our 5S culture to do your part in our drive towards Excellence.
Spotting, reporting, and removing hazards within the working environment to do your part towards the companys Zero accidents Culture.
?Use of FLT'S within day-to-day production roles (Training can be provided).
Experience and Key Attributes:
Previous?experience in a production environment would be beneficial, but not a necessity.
Understanding of production environment work practices and Health and Safety standards (LOTO, 5s, JT10, PMS)
Taking pride in your work and the work of your Team.
The ability to work under pressure and within set time constraints.
The ability to work?within?a busy team or independently when required.
The drive to look for ways to improve work practices, stay highly motivated and learn new skills.
