About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Casework Coordinator to join their Casework Assessment and Support department within the Social Housing sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality and timely casework journeys, supporting assessments and investigations.
As a Casework Coordinator, you will engage proactively with customers, ensuring they provide all necessary evidence while adhering to compliance and administrative tasks. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with stakeholders will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality casework support by proactively engaging customers to gather relevant information.
Assess evidence submitted by customers and determine the appropriate resolution route, escalating issues when necessary.
Check landlord compliance with orders from investigations and take intervention actions as needed.
Create investigation case files efficiently while identifying customer needs and providing suitable advice and signposting.
Maintain accurate records in case management systems, ensuring data is up-to-date and compliant with GDPR and equalities legislation.
Collaborate with team members and participate in meetings and events as required.
Strive to optimise the quality of service delivery and contribute to the development of the casework assessment team.Qualifications and Experience:
GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent) is essential.
Significant experience in customer support and stakeholder management, particularly within social housing or regulatory environments, is preferred.
Proven ability to communicate clearly, especially with vulnerable customers, and to manage workloads independently.
Strong administrative skills, with experience in providing support in a busy team setting.
Proficiency in MS Word and other IT applications is required.Skills and Attributes:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of dispute resolution and complaint handling processes is advantageous.
