We are currently recruiting experienced Carpenters for a major construction project in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is a long-term opportunity for skilled tradespeople with strong experience in 1st fix, 2nd fix, and general carpentry duties. Ongoing work is available with this carpentry subcontractor on future developments across the region.

Key Responsibilities: Complete 1st & 2nd fix carpentry, including framing, studwork, doors, and finishes. Carry out general carpentry and site duties as directed by the site management team. Work safely on a busy construction site, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Support additional tasks to ensure smooth project progress. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Carpenter on commercial or residential construction projects. Valid CSCS card ( essential ). Full driving licence and own tools ( essential ). Ability to read drawings and work independently to high standards. What's on Offer: £25-28 per hour, paid weekly. 45 hours per week minimum. Strong potential for ongoing work beyond the initial 3-month contract. Work with a respected carpentry subcontractor across multiple projects. CIS, Umbrella or PAYE payment options available. Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire (PO1-PO6) Ideal for candidates based in: Southampton, Havant, Fareham, Gosport, Waterlooville, Chichester, and wider Hampshire.
