Carpenter – Fire Doors & 2nd Fix

Location: London
Type: Permanent / Long-term (can be adapted to contract if needed)
Rate/Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

About the Role

We are a well-established construction principal contractor working across commercial and residential projects in London. Due to continued workload, we are looking for skilled Carpenters with strong 2nd fix and fire door experience to join our site teams on long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

*

Installation, adjustment, and maintenance of fire doors.

*

Carrying out high-quality 2nd fix carpentry, including:

*

Skirting, architraves, doors, ironmongery

*

Finishing works to a high standard

*

Working in line with fire safety regulations and site requirements

*

Reading and working from drawings and specifications

*

Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area

Requirements

*

NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent)

*

Proven experience installing fire doors

*

Strong background in 2nd fix carpentry

*

Valid CSCS card (Blue or Gold preferred)

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Own tools and PPE
