Are you a dependable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment? We are looking for a School Caretaker to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our facilities, supporting staff, students and visitors every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness, safety and security of the school premises
Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs as needed
Open and close the school, managing building access and security systems
Monitor and report health and safety concerns promptly
Support contractors and manage deliveries and site visitors
Ensure playgrounds, grounds and outdoor areas are safe and tidy
Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues or emergenciesWhat We're Looking For:

Previous experience in caretaking or maintenance, preferably in a school or similar environment
Practical skills and ability to carry out basic repairs and upkeep
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
Flexibility to cover out-of-hours duties as required
