️ Care Home Chef - Edinburgh & Surrounding Areas

Pay Rate: £15-£20 per hour (DOE) Location: Edinburgh & surroundings areas Hours: Flexible shifts available (full-time, part-time, or temporary cover)

Are you a passionate chef who takes pride in creating nutritious, tasty meals that make a real difference to people's lives? We're looking for experienced Care Home Chefs to join our team, providing high-quality catering across care settings in Edinburgh and nearby areas.

What you'll do:

Prepare and cook balanced, delicious meals in line with resident's dietary needs and preferences Cater for a range of levelled diets and textured-modified meals Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and record keeping Work collaboratively with care staff to support resident's wellbeing through great foodWhat we're looking for:

Previous experience as a chef in a care home or healthcare setting Knowledge and experience with levelled diets (IDDSI) A valid PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) certificate - essential Food Hygiene and relevant catering qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Food Safety) Reliability, compassion, and a genuine commitment to excellent careWhat we offer:
