About the role
\nAs a Care Assistant, you will provide personal and social care to residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes well-being and independence. You will help maintain an atmosphere and practice of care that reflects MHA’s values of mutual respect and concern for the individual.
\nWhat you will do
\n- \n
- Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions \n
- Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans, including those for residents with dementia \n
- Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, enhancing residents’ physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing \n
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, infection control, and health & safety practices. \n
About you
\nYou will bring:
\n- \n
- Respect and sensitivity for older people \n
- A willingness to be trained and developed (Level 1 or 2 in social care is encouraged) \n
- Good communication and listening skills \n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team \n
- A caring nature with patience and empathy \n
- Previous care experience is desirable, though not essential \n
- Work flexibly across a rota, including weekends. \n
