Role: Canoe Polo Manager For Lets Go Hydro, Belfast International Watersports Resort Hours of Work: 40-hour, five-day week including weekends Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum Water sports and canoe polo are growing in popularity, and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Canoe Polo Manager, experienced at coaching and competing at national and international level in canoeing and kayaking. This role will be as a player/manager. Our aim is to develop a competitive ladies team from Ulster, to compete at international events including the European Club Championships. Job summary: Design and implement structured coaching and schedule of training programmes for a Ladies Canoe Team Organise, direct and co-ordinate training and coaching activities and resources required Increase participation, especially for women in the sport, to develop and train our Ladies team to be able to compete against the best in the world Recruit, supervise and train staff to assist with the activities, also keeping abreast of new developments Oversee day-to-day club operations, ensure the facilities are kept clean and in good condition Carry out administrative duties in relation to the activity programme as deemed appropriate for the particular service provided as and when required Ensure health & safety compliance;responsible for ensuring accidents / incidents are dealt with efficiently and promptly while accurately recording and reporting details. (Report any defects or damage to equipment or building to appropriate personnel in order to ensure problems are resolved) This role will involve working in various sites, as well as being responsible for overseeing the transporting of equipment to necessary venues Essential Skills Canoe Polo / Kayaking qualifications Experience competing in canoe polo/kayaking competitions at international level Ability to train/coach players to compete at a high level Hardworking and flexible attitude, with excellent people skills Excellent communication skills, able to lead and take responsibility as well as being a team player Excellent time management, organisational, and administrative skills A passion for the development of good club structures and a commitment to the growth of our sport through our club network Must hold a full clean driving licence Desirable Recognised coaching qualifications First Aid qualifications We are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons How to apply: To apply, please send your CV and cover letter detailing how you meet the criteria Closing Date: 15th January 2026 at 5pm
