We're currently recruiting for a Call Handler to join a vital non-emergency ambulance service team in Derry/Londonderry. This is a key role where you'll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals, helping to coordinate transport for medical appointments and treatments. Key Responsibilities: Handle incoming calls in a calm, professional manner Accurately record patient details and transport requirements Assess eligibility and schedule bookings using internal systems Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries efficiently Liaise with ambulance crews and healthcare providers Requirements: Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment is essential Strong communication and IT skills Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive information 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English and Maths) - desirable What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £12.31 Full-time hours with structured shifts Supportive team environment Training and development opportunities Make a difference every day.
