Job Description

Adept resourcing are recruiting on behalf of an international manufacturing business, with a great reputation as an employer, assisting them in their search for a entry-level Calibration Testing Technician/Quality and Inspection Technician to report into the Quality Engineer.\n\nThe role:\n\nTo support quality and inspection activities, perform product verification tests, and assist in maintaining compliance with ISO standards.\n\n Laboratory Activities:\n\nPerform initial verification tests on approved instruments.\nRecord and report test results accurately in accordance with company procedures.Quality Support:\n\nCarry out administrative tasks to support quality-related activities.\nDevelop a working understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards.Inspection:\n\nConduct goods-in inspections upon receipt, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and product specifications.\nProcess and assess customer returns in line with quality procedures. \n\nWorking closely with the Quality Engineer to:\n\nAchieve 100% completion of required verification tests\nAchieve no major non-conformities during internal/ external audits\nComplete 100% of good in inspections within 48hrs of receipt\nMaintain accuracy in recording test and inspections findings\nComplete internal/external training to achieve a working understanding of ISO standardsSkills required:\n\nUnderstanding (or willingness to learn) of general metrology principles for pressure measurement.\nExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.\nAbility to follow instructions and work methodically.\nCompetent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.\nGood numeracy and literacy skills.\nA positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.On the job training will be provided however\n\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with engineering drawings and measurement equipment are advantageous.Apply today for immediate consideration\n\nAt Adept Resourcing - Commercial & Engineering, we specialise in connecting companies with top talent that drives innovation, growth and success.
