The CAD Technician will fulfil a key part of a team of professionals from different disciplines working on the production of drawings related to Petroleum, Oils, & Lubricants (POL) facilities. The CAD Technician will be responsible for developing piping layouts, producing concept designs and as built drawings.

More about the role: Prepare comprehensive planning drawing packs to support new project proposals and approvals Produce detailed 2D and 3D fabrication drawings for piping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Develop concept designs through to fully detailed installation layouts, in collaboration with internal and external design teams Draft P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) using AutoCAD Create accurate as-built drawings for POL (Petroleum, Oils & Lubricants) facilities following site completion Conduct one-off site and building surveys to capture essential data for design and documentation Liaise with in-house site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve design-related queries Engage with clients during pre- and post-tender stages, including attending meetings on-s...
