We're currently supporting a well-established engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Technician to join their growing civil infrastructure team. This is a senior technical role with real responsibility, offering the chance to lead civil design delivery across a range of complex projects while mentoring junior staff and working closely with engineers and project managers. The Role As a Senior Civil Technician, you'll take a lead role in the production and coordination of detailed civil engineering designs, primarily using Autodesk Civil 3D . Projects typically include site development, roads, drainage, stormwater management, and water & sewer utilities, including pressurised systems for mission-critical facilities. Key Responsibilities

Lead and produce high-quality civil designs and drawings in Civil 3D

Develop 3D models, grading designs, and earthworks calculations

Coordinate closely with engineers to deliver plans, profiles, and sections

Carry out design QA/QC and ensure compliance with standards and regulations

Manage drawing packages, revisions, and project documentation

Review volume calculations for excavation and site grading

Mentor and support junior technicians
