CAD Technician | Poole | £40,000
Are you a meticulous CAD Technician who enjoys turning technical concepts into accurate, buildable drawings? This is an opportunity to join a well-established Engineering business in Poole, working on varied projects and seeing your designs come to life in the real world.
As a CAD Technician, you will benefit from:

As a CAD Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Producing CAD drawings and models from design briefs and specifications
Updating and maintaining drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaising with engineers, project managers and, where required, customers.
Supporting the engineering team with technical documentation, layouts and schematics.
Ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and internal quality procedures.
As a CAD Technician, your experience will include:
Proven experience in a CAD Technician ideally within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or Inventor.
Joinery background is advantageous.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and schematics
An HNC / HND or similar Engineering-related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential if you have strong relevant experience
