Job Description

CAD Technician – Manufacturing\nLocation: Manchester\nSalary: £(phone number removed)\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nThe Role As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design and engineering teams by producing accurate technical drawings and models. You will be involved throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to manufacture.\n\n Key Responsibilities\nProduce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software\n\nInterpret engineering specifications and translate them into technical designs\n\nWork closely with design engineers, production teams, and project managers\n\nAmend and update existing drawings in line with project requirements\n\nEnsure all drawings comply with relevant standards and manufacturing processes\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the design function\n\n Requirements\nPrevious experience in a CAD Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment\n\nProficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)\n\nStrong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes\n\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy\n\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\n\nGood communication and organisational skills
