We are looking to recruit a CADDesign Engineer / Draughtsman to work across a range of specialised projects within the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Key Requirements Proven 3D design experience, ideally delivering HVAC designs on time and to specification Experience using Inventor and AutoCAD Strong attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Good time management and organisational ability Experience in sheet metal and steelwork design and fabrication Awareness of quality and compliance requirements Ability to work as part of a team-focused environment Flexible approach to support business and project needs Key Responsibilities Ensure all designs meet company and statutory standards Coordinate the development and delivery of mechanical engineering designs and documentation in line with project programmes Identify and communicate engineering risks to the Project Manager Provide mechanical engineering support for xehkeey fabrication, technical assembly, installation, and commissioning Produce cost-effective designs while maintaining required quality standards Check GA and fabrication drawings prior to issue Produce mechanical GA drawings and detailed fabrication drawings Prepare supporting documentation including parts lists and flat pack details Liaise closely with Project Managers and the wider engineering team to ensure robust and practical designs
