Cable Installation Operatives - Monk Fryston\n\nLocation: Monk Fryston, Leeds \n Rate: £28.50 per hour\n Hours: 45 hours per week\n Start Date: start dates of 12th or 19th January 2026\n Duration: \n Positions Available: 12 operatives\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are recruiting experienced Cable Installation Operatives for a large-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) project in Monk Fryston. The role involves the hands-on installation of DC and LV cables, working closely with jointers and electrical engineers on site.\n\nOperatives will be required to manually install short cable runs (approximately 25 metres) and must be physically capable of carrying out this work safely and efficiently. Flexibility is essential, as operatives may be asked to assist with other site duties when cable installation works are not available.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInstallation of DC and LV cables on BESS units\n\nManual handling and placement of short cable lengths\n\nWorking alongside jointers and electrical engineers\n\nMaintaining high standards of health, safety, and site housekeeping\n\nAssisting with other site tasks as required\n\nEssential Skills & Requirements\n\nProven experience in Cable Installation\n\nCSCS card (minimum requirement)\n\nPhysically fit and capable of manual cable installation\n\nWillingness to be flexible and support general site activities\n\nDesirable Skills\n\nCPCS Dumper qualification\n\nAdditional CPCS or plant tickets\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive rate of £28.50 per hour\n\n45 hours per week\n\nOpportunity to work on a major energy infrastructure project\n\nMultiple positions available with an immediate project start\n \n If interested, contact Dan on (phone number removed) for more information
