The Opportunity
Are you a skilled craftsman with a passion for working with fine timber?
We are recruiting for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join a prestigious workshop near Taunton. Our client is renowned for producing high-end, bespoke furniture and architectural joinery for luxury residential projects across Somerset and the South West.
This is a role for a true maker—someone who takes pride in traditional techniques while being proficient with modern machinery to create pieces that last a lifetime.
The Role
Working within a highly equipped workshop, your responsibilities will include:

Bespoke Fabrication: Crafting one-off pieces of furniture, luxury kitchens, and high-end fitted joinery from technical drawings.

Material Selection: Selecting and preparing premium hardwoods, veneers, and sheet materials.

Assembly & Hand Finishing: Executing complex joints (dovetails, mortise and tenon) and ensuring an impeccable sanded or sprayed finish.

Machinery Operation: Safe use of panel saws, spindle moulders, planers, and CNC machinery where applicable.
