Position Summary
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling cabinet boxes, components, and hardware accurately and efficiently according to production specifications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble cabinet boxes, drawers, doors, and hardware according to work orders
Read and interpret shop drawings and production paperwork
Inspect materials and finished components for quality control
Install hinges, drawer slides, and specialty hardware
Assist with packaging and preparing completed cabinets for shipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all shop safety procedures
Collaborate with CNC operators, finishing team, and production manager
Qualifications
Required:
1+ year experience in cabinet assembly, woodworking, or manufacturing
Ability to read measurements accurately (tape measure proficiency required)
Familiarity with power tools and assembly equipment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Experience in cabinet manufacturing
Knowledge of frameless cabinet construction
Experience working in a production environment
Basic understanding of edge banding and CNC-cut parts
Bilingual is a big plus
