Jackson Hogg Procurement division are pleased to be working with an industrial services business in South Tyneside on the appointment of a Buyer to join their supply chain team. This role is a newly-created position due to growth so is an exciting time to join! This is a permanent role offering hybrid working of 2 days per week from home.

The primary focus is to procure goods and services quickly and accurately to ensure operations are maintained across the business.

The Role:

Raise POR’s for goods and services ensuring approval in line with DOA.

Expedite POR’s to ensure lead times are met.

Issue RFQ’s

Invoice query resolution.

Engage with key stakeholders across the business to develop relationships, understand requirements and project pipeline.

Be a champion for the function, providing guidance and support to site teams for all aspects of supply chain.
