BuyerSalary: Up to £37,000 per annumLocation: Walsall (site based reasonable commute required)Hours: MonThu: 8:00am 5:15pm - Fri: 8:00am 12:00pmWe are looking for an experienced Buyer to manage supplier relationships and inventory in a cost effective and timely way, supporting production needs in a fast paced environment.Youll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the best outcomes across cost, quality, and delivery, supporting overall procurement targets.Key Responsibilities of this Buyer role:Manage a portfolio of suppliers and day to day purchasing activityPlace orders in line with demand, MOQ, MOV, and lead timesMaintain accurate system data and safety stock levelsMonitor supplier performance against delivery targetsNegotiate prices and challenge cost increasesWork to reduce stock holding and obsolescenceSupport resolution of quality and delivery issuesEscalate risks and issues when requiredBuild strong working relationships across the businessExperience Required for this Buyer role:Minimum 3 years experience as a BuyerManufacturing or engineering background essentialStrong Excel skills (essential)ERP experience preferred (training provided)Stable work history and a well structured CVBenefits of this Buyer role:5% matched pensionHealth cash planCritical illness insuranceDeath in service (1x salary)25 days holiday bank holidaysExtra paid day off for your birthdayFor applications or enquiries, please contact Jamie Garcia Courtice at.Due to high application volumes, we may only respond to shortlisted candidates.
