Our engineering & maritime client is currently looking for a buyer.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and exciting company based near Southampton.\nThe ideal candidate will have previous buying experience and will be required to carry out the following duties:\n * Source and select suppliers\n * Maintaining working relationships with key suppliers\n * Issue purchase orders\n * Track purchasing activity and update database\n * General buying and procurement duties\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience of negotiating with suppliers and must have an excellent phone manor.\nExperience of sage 200 would be beneficial but not essential.\nSalary:\n£35,000 - £40,000p/a\nSalary offered will depend on experience\nHours:\nMonday - Friday, Days\n08.00am start but some flexibility is available
