The Butchery Manager role is a senior, hands-on position within a fast-paced retail meat operation where pace, yield and standards drive everything. This is a role for someone who can lead confidently on the floor, control performance in real time, and hold standards under pressure.
Youll sit at the centre of production, quality and yield, with the authority to challenge, improve and lead from the front.

  • Leading daily butchery operations in a pace-driven, line-led environment
  • Managing yield, waste, labour control and operational KPIs across shift
  • Coaching and supporting trimmers and butchery leaders on the production floor
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene and UK food legislation
  • Working closely with production, technical and planning teams
  • Challenging quality, specification and efficiency issues as they arise
What youll bring to the table as a Butchery Manager
  • Strong hands-on butchery experience within fast-paced operations
  • Proven experience controlling yield, waste and labour
  • Confidence working with primals and supporting training on arrival
  • Previous leadership responsibility within food manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
Working hours:
Sunday: 6:00am 6:00pm
Monday: 6:00am 6:30pm
Tuesday: 3:00pm 11:00pm
Wednesday: 3:00pm 11:00pm
Thursday: 3:00pm 11:00pm
