As a Business Support Officer (BSO) at MBDA, you will provide administrative and operational support to our Finance team!
Salary: Circa £28,000, depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: A blended of remote and office working, working 2-3 days a week onsite with a flexible approach.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our dynamic team within the UK Support Function (UKSF).
The UKSF pride ourselves on high levels of team spirit and provide an inclusive environment, where our teams can develop and grow within a supportive working culture.
The role is located in our Stevenage office, but you will be expected to travel to other UK sites on occasion.
The role will include:
- Provide pro-active, accurate and comprehensive administrative support to Senior Management and their teams within Finance
- Proactive and progressive attention to detail
- Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and MS Word documents accurately
- Stakeholder engagement, managing/building relationships within Finance and across the business
- Strong communication skills
- Assisting new starters within the Finance teams
What you will be doing:
- Manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses
- Organise meetings, events, training days, participate when required and take and manage actions
- Participate in UK Support Function initiatives and personal development initiatives
- Understand and utilise MS Office and MBDA systems
- These tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scope
