Business Manager, Curriculum and Assessment Permanent £73k-£78k (plus PRP* - currently under review) CCEA is a unique educational body in the UK, bringing together curriculum, qualifications, assessment and regulation. Leading a team of educational professionals, the Business Manager, Curriculum and Assessment will provide senior strategic and operational leadership with responsibility for the development and delivery of advice, guidance, resources and support for the Northern Ireland Curriculum and associated assessment arrangements. The Business Manager will deliver on our commitment to evidence-informed decision making, using robust local and national policies, data and research to target resources effectively to facilitate all learners to access high-quality educational opportunities in an education system grounded in fairness, excellence, and ambition. A key objective of the role is to drive educational improvement through effective collaboration with the Department of Education, our other education partners, schools, families, and communities. The Business Manager for Curriculum and Assessment will lead on CCEA core work to support the transformative reform agenda of TransformEd NI and the SEN Reform Agenda, shaping a modern education system that is inclusive, future-proof and responsive to the needs of all learners and the complex demands of the modern world. The post holder will have a lead role, within the remit of CCEA, to support and advise on the delivery of an impactful, knowledge-rich curriculum and effective assessment system that empowers every child and young person in Northern Ireland to thrive in a rapidly changing world. The role also requires the post holder to contribute to work of the wider business unit, supporting the Director of Curriculum and Assessment in setting and delivering the business unit, wider educational and organisational vision and strategic and operational goals and objectives.
