Business Development Manager - Midlands base - Up to £60,000 We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to grow their UK transport operations. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities across domestic UK logistics, with additional emphasis on UK-Ireland transport solutions as a strong advantage. You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and developing profitable transport contracts while building long-term relationships with key clients.
Location: Midlands - Hybrid/remote based Salary: Up to £60,000 Additions: Car allowance & commission
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the UK transport sector Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline across key industries (retail, FMCG, manufacturing, etc.) Promote full load, part load, and groupage transport services Drive growth in UK domestic transport, with added focus on UK-Ireland freight lanes Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business Conduct client meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies Achieve and exceed agreed sale...
