Field Sales Manager – Midlands & South of England

Permanent | Field-Based

Salary: Up to £DOE (incl. car allowance) + bonus + benefits

A global leader in particular protective packaging solutions, supplying high-performance flexible packaging to industrial markets worldwide, alongside their sister company.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a commercially driven Field Sales Manager to strengthen our Sales team and drive regional growth across the Midlands and South of England.

The Role

This is a high-impact, autonomous field sales role focused on new business development, account growth, and long-term customer partnerships within industrial and manufacturing sectors.

You’ll manage your own territory, delivering consultative, technically led solutions while representing the business professionally in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business and sustainable revenue growth within your region

*

Identify, prospect, and convert new customers through structured field activity

*

Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions

*

Deliver tailored, consultative sales solutions aligned to customer needs

*

Build strong, trust-based customer relationships

*

Manage pricing, negotiations, and sales pipelines to achieve profitable outcomes

*

Maintain accurate CRM records and provide forecasts, reports, and market insight

*

Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events

*

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience

About You

*

Minimum 5 years’ B2B sales experience within industrial or manufacturing environments

*

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

*

Technically minded with the ability to understand customer processes and solutions

*

Experienced in managing a field-based sales territory

*

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

*

Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously

*

Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

*

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel

(Packaging experience is advantageous but not essential.)

Additional Details

Field-based role covering the Midlands & South of England

Monthly visits to the site for training and collaboration

*

Occasional international travel may be required
