They offer extensive career development opportunities as well as the chance to be part of a fully supportive culture where everybody is valued.\n\nBusiness Development Manager – Responsibilities\n\n * New Business Development for the company’s air/ocean freight services.\n\n * Prospect for potential new clients, develop and ultimately close the business\n\n * Cold call as appropriate within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.\n\n * Identify potential clients, and the decision-makers within the client organisation.\n\n * Research and build relationships with new clients.\n\n * Arrange Meetings with prospective clients\n\n * Plan approaches and pitches.\n\n * Develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.\n\n * Client Retention\n\n * Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships with clients.\n\n * Work with internal colleagues to meet customer needs.\n\n * Arrange and participate in internal and external client Meetings.\n\nBusiness Development Manager – Requirements\n\n * Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Research and writing skills\n Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills and Sales Planning\n\n * The ability to be able to Identify customer needs and goals\n\n * The ability to self-motivate and work effectively on your own, as well as part of a team.\n\n * Be able to show an in-depth market knowledge and understanding\n\nTLP Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
